(Louisville, KY) - The newly approved Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is being distributed around the country.
Doses of the vaccine approved for emergency use over the weekend arrived at the UPS Worldport in Louisville Monday afternoon.
A UPS truck with vaccines on board was escorted there by police from McKesson distribution center in Shepherdsville.
It's the third COVID-19 vaccine to be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
