(Louisville, KY) - Louisville Zoo Director John Walczak is retiring.
He has been in charge at the facility since 2004 and worked there in different positions since the mid-1980s.
Walczak says it's the right time for him to depart, which is why he's leaving. A nationwide search is now underway for his replacement.
