(Shively, KY) - Shively Sporting Goods is closing. The closure was announced over the weekend and comes as the store merges with BSN Sports.
During its over 50 years in business, it opened what became the oldest and largest independent sporting goods store in Kentucky.
A new building to be built on Park Drive will be strictly for coaches, athletic directors and administrators where they'll be able to see, feel and touch uniforms before ordering.
