(Louisville, KY) - The next blast of winter weather is on its way to Kentucky.
The National Weather Service in Louisville says the next winter storm will start to arrive this afternoon with light snow and accumulations under a half inch across southern Indiana and central Kentucky.
Snow, sleet and freezing rain are expected tonight into tomorrow morning with one-to-three inches of snow and sleet possible across the region. A varying winter mix is possible into Friday morning.
Thousands are still without power across the state after the storm that hit earlier this week.
