(Louisville, KY) - Mayor Greg Fischer is urging people to stay home, unless it's absolutely necessary to travel. He's also asking employers to be flexible and allow people to work from home.
The city has plenty of salt on hand, 35,000 tons. Public works trucks spent the weekend hauling salt out of the Mega Cavern, where it's stored.
The LouVax mass vaccination site is closed Monday, and COVID-19 vaccinations at the site are postponed.
"Operation White Flag" is in effect, with local shelters open day and night for the homeless.
