Indiana Residents Ages 65 & Older Now Eligible For COVID-19 Vaccine

(Indianapolis, IN) - Hoosiers ages 65 and older can now make an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine.

The Indiana State Department of Health updated the age of eligibility Monday. Over 90,000 Indiana residents ages 65 to 69 scheduled their appointments for the first vaccine dose by Monday evening.

In total, ISDH says more than 1.3 million first and second dose appointments have been scheduled since the state began offering the vaccine in December.
