Kentucky Lawmakers Denounce Violence At Pro-Trump Rally In Washington D.C.

(Washington, DC) - Lawmakers from both sides of the political aisle in Kentucky have condemned the violence at a rally supporting President Trump in Washington D.C. Wednesday.

The violence left four people dead, and more than sixty people were arrested.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is condemning the violence at the Capitol. He says no one will interrupt the work of democracy.

Republican Senator Rand Paul says violence and mob rule is un-American and will not bring election reform. The Kentucky GOP says violence has no place in American democracy.

Governor Andy Beshear called the protesters domestic terrorists. Beshear says all Americans must condemn what happened in the Capitol.
