Louisville Metro Council Approves New Contract For LMPD

(Louisville, KY) - A new, short-term contract for LMPD officers has been approved. 

The Louisville Metro Council passed the contract between the mayor's office and the Fraternal Order of Police Thursday night. 

Officers have been working without a contract for nearly two-and-a-half years. 

The six-month contract includes pay increases and some police reforms.
