(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky is reporting a single-day high for new COVID-19 cases.
Governor Andy Beshear announced 1,346 new cases of the virus Wednesday, calling it a wake-up call to avoid complacency about the pandemic.
Beshear also reported seven new COVID-19-related deaths in the Commonwealth.
A total of 83,013 Kentuckians have tested positive for the virus, and 1,276 have died since the pandemic began.
