(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear doesn't think Mayor Greg Fisher resigning would solve ongoing issues in Louisville.
Some community leaders and organizations have called on Mayor Fischer to resign over his handling of the Breonna Taylor case. Others have expressed frustration about the shutdown of businesses due to COVID-19 and protests.
During his COVID-19 briefing yesterday, Governor Beshear said Fischer is working hard and that stepping down won't help the current situation.
