(Nashville, TN) - Country music singer Sturgill Simpson is battling COVID-19.
The Kentucky native posted to his Instagram account saying he got tested at a drive-thru facility outside a National Guard depot on April 6th and heard back from the Nashville CDC on April 10th.
Simpson said he tried to get tested after the tour he was on was canceled in March, but was turned away for not fitting the criteria.
The Woodford County High grad says his wife tested negative.
