(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky Senate hopeful Amy McGrath has surpassed incumbent Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's record-breaking fundraising efforts.
McConnell took in nearly $7.5 million during the first quarter of this year, his largest three-month haul since he came to Washington in 1985.
Retired Marine fighter pilot McGrath brought in over $12.75 million during the same period.
The figures indicate that Kentucky's Senate race will be one of the nation's most expensive in 2020.
