(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear is continuing to update the public about new cases and deaths from COVID-19.
Beshear said in a briefing Sunday that there were 38 new cases in the state, along with five new deaths.
The increase is lower than on many previous days, but Beshear is warning that the peak of the outbreak will likely be in early May.
The governor also announced that just over 300 Kentuckians have recovered from the virus.
