(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear is imposing new restrictions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Beshear announced Thursday that he is recommending that Kentucky schools remain closed to in-person classes through May 1st.
He also expanded an executive order relating to out-of-state travel, requiring those coming to stay in Kentucky to quarantine for 14 days.
The governor also is prohibiting overnight stays in state parks starting Friday.
