(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear is instituting a ban on all non-essential travel out of Kentucky as the number of COVID-19 cases in the state escalates.
Beshear announced the travel ban Monday during his daily briefing.
The governor also announced 42 new COVID-19 cases and two more deaths related to the virus.
He said somewhere between about 15,000 and 21,000 people in the state have been tested for the virus so far.
