The major college basketball conferences are canceling this week's tournaments because of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
The ACC, Big Ten, Big Twelve, Pac-12 and SEC all announced they were ending their tournaments early. They issued statements saying they are taking the action to limit the spread of the virus.
The NCAA Tournament is scheduled to begin next week. The NCAA announced Wednesday they would not allow fans to attend the games.
