(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear is canceling and rebidding Kentucky's Medicaid managed care contracts.
The governor said Monday that the Bevin administration awarded nearly $8 billion in contracts during his last days in office.
Beshear also said members of the Government Contract Review Committee unanimously voted to reject those contracts on Bevin's final day in office.
The governor intends to issue new requests for proposals by January 10th, with providers being selected in early spring.
