Lexington Mayor: City Won't Charge Trump Campaign For Security Costs

(Lexington, KY) - Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton says the city won't be charging President Trump's campaign for security costs related to his upcoming visit. 

Trump is holding a rally at Rupp Arena November 4th that is expected to draw more than ten-thousand people.

Gorton says the security measures have been provided for previous presidents and major candidates without charge to the campaigns. She added that the city protects "free speech and safety for all."
