(Simi Valley, CA) - A video is circulating on social media that shows two people verbally assaulting Senator Rand Paul while he was having lunch in California.
The video was taken by Paul's deputy chief of staff Sergio Gor on Friday in Simi Valley.
Gor says the two were "complaining about incivility" and he posted the video to his Twitter account.
The video went viral and prompted responses from several other political figures, such as Senator Ted Cruz and former Governor and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.
The Kentucky Republican was in California as part of his book tour.
