(Louisville, KY) - One of Louisville's four city pools is open.
The Sun Valley Pool reopened to the public Monday thanks to Councilwoman Cindi Fowler using her discretionary funds.
In April, Mayor Greg Fischer announced the pools would be closed for the summer due to a huge budget gap.
The Sun Valley Pool opened for swimming with a party and will remain open for the rest of the summer.
