Louisville Police Ask For Help To Stop Recent Violence

(Louisville, KY) - Louisville Metro Police is calling on the community for help following recent violence in the city. 

There has been an increase in violence over the last couple of weeks.

LMPD Lt. Emily McKinley talked about the trends they're seeing during a press conference on Thursday. 

Police are asking people to lock their cars, secure their guns and be aware of their surroundings after nearly 20 people were shot over the last two weekends.
