(Cannelton, IN) - A county sheriff says an 11-year-old girl scout was killed when a tree fell on her as she walked along a gravel road at a southern Indiana campground.
It happened Monday at Camp Koch in Perry County.
Perry County Sheriff Alan Malone says the 40 foot tree fell on 11-year-old Isabelle Meyer, killing her.
A 10-year-old girl was treated for a minor injury. Two women were also hurt.
The camp has been closed.
