(Leitchfield, KY) - Late Churchill Downs Vice President of Racing Communications John Asher is honored in his hometown.
A section of Highway 259 in Leitchfield was renamed in John Asher's honor on Tuesday.
Asher died suddenly while on vacation with his family in Florida last August.
He had been with Churchill Downs since 1997 after previously working as a reporter at NewsRadio 840 WHAS.
