(Louisville, KY) - Louisville's first responders are sounding the alarm over cuts to their budgets.
They answered questions from Metro Council's budget committee Thursday as the committee members try to find $25 million in savings for the upcoming fiscal year.
The current budget proposal calls for cutting one ambulance and ten EMT's from Louisville Emergency Medical Services.
LMPD is expected to cut its recruits by a third, get rid of its school resource officer program with JCPS, and is recommending the elimination of the ShotSpotter program.
