(Frankfort, KY) - The Click It or Ticket campaign is getting underway in Kentucky.
The national campaign to raise awareness about seatbelt usage and safety begins Monday and runs through June 2nd.
Kentucky State Police and local police agencies will be increasing patrols to target those who are unbuckled.
There were 725 highway deaths in the Commonwealth last year and nearly 53 percent of those people were not properly restrained.
