JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. -- A suspected serial robber was shot and killed by police in Jeffersontown.
Louisville police were pulling over a suspect they believed was involved in multiple business robberies when the car attempted to drive off.
An LMPD officer and a Jeffersontown police car were hit, prompting police to fire shots.
The suspect was hit and later died at University hospital.
The officer hit by the suspect's car is expected to be OK.
LMPD Chief Steve Conrad will provide an update on Thursday.
