Maximum Security's owners aren't giving up the fight to have their horse restored as the winner of the 145th Kentucky Derby.
Gary and Mary West issued a statement Thursday saying they're evaluating their legal options.
They say they believe if they get a just and proper hearing for their case, Maximum Security will be restored as the rightful winner of this year's Derby.
Maximum Security was disqualified after race stewards determined the horse had impeded the path of other horses.
