(Louisville, KY) - Country House wins the 145th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs after a review disqualified Maximum Security.
An objection was placed after Maximum Security initially won the historic race. A video review determined Maximum Security impeded War of Will.
Country House was then named the winner. Code of Honor ended up placing second while Tacitus finished third.
This is the first time the apparent winner of the Kentucky Derby was disqualified after the race.
