Herro, Kentucky Outlast Houston In Sweet 16

(Kansas City, MO) - Tyler Herro saved the day with a late three-pointer as Kentucky outlasted Houston 62-58 at the Sweet 16 in Kansas City. 

Herro nailed the go-ahead three with 25 seconds left to play and sealed the win with a pair of late free throws.

Herro led the Wildcats with 19 points, and P.J. Washington returned from injury to score 16 off the bench. 

Armoni Brooks led Houston with 20 points in defeat. 

The Cougars trailed by 11 at halftime, but rallied to make it a close game in the second half. Houston ends the season at 33-4.
