LOUSIVILLE, Ky. -- The Kentucky Exposition Center is filled with bomb-sniffing experts preparing for Derby festivities.
Twenty K-9 teams from local, state and federal law enforcement agencies gathered for a three-day training session.
The dogs ran explosives recognition exercises to prepare for large events, including the Kentucky Derby.
ATF officials say these dogs will be able to do vehicle and venue searches prior to large events.
