(Louisville, KY) - The University of Louisville officially has its new football coach.
Scott Satterfield was introduced as the head coach for Louisville Football on Tuesday. He has spent the past six seasons in charge of the football program at Appalachian State.
Satterfield has been given a six year contract with an annual base salary of $3.25 million with an additional $1.225 million in bonuses possible each year.
The contract includes a $5 million buyout if Satterfield were to terminate the agreement.
