LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A rough landing for a cargo plane overnight at Louisville International Airport.
A spokeswoman for Louisville International Airport says emergency crews were called by the FAA control tower just before 2:00 a.m. after a Shorts 360 cargo feeder plane landed on runway 17 Left with its landing gear up.
A UPS Airlines spokesman confirms the plane was operated by a contractor delivering UPS packages to Louisville from Danville, Illinois and the incident did not involve any UPS employees or equipment.
The crew was not injured and the packages have been offloaded from the plane.
