JEFFERSONVILLE, Ky. -- Jeffersonville Police say a clerk was fatally shot during a robbery at a gas station late Thursday night.
A caller reported not seeing an employee in the Stop N Go on Allison Lane for several minutes while they were in the store. Officers arrived to find the clerk dead in the back of the store.
Police say evidence indicated the clerk was shot during a robbery and an undisclosed amount of business cash was taken.
A statement from police says the investigation is still ongoing and active.
