FLOYDS KNOBS, Ind. -- Police investigating after racially charged graffiti shows up in a southern Indiana town.
Investigators believe the vandals, armed with red spray paint, struck Floyds Knobs late Sunday night, hitting a school and an assisted living community. In both locations, the swastika was painted. On a bus parked at Floyds Knobs Elementary School, homophobic slurs also appeared, and on an Azalea Hills assisted living facility sign there were crude drawings of male genitalia.
Floyd County Sheriff Frank Loop suspects the culprits are kids with "nothing else to do."
Loop has promised a full investigation, anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous tip line at (812) 945-FCSD.
