LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- An overnight double shooting in the Parkland neighborhood leaves one dead.
LMPD was called to the 1100 block of South 36th Street just before midnight Monday on the report of a shooting, arriving to find a woman who had been shot. That woman was pronounced dead at the scene but a man believed to be a second victim of the same shooting was taken to University Hospital by car. That man has what police are calling non-life threatening injuries.
LMPD is not saying if the two victims may have known each other.
The Homicide Unit is investigating.
