UPDATE: There are reports out of the Middle East that a body has been found in the Mediterranean Sea near where a University of Kentucky student went missing.
Rescue efforts have been underway for TeNiya Jones, who went missing Saturday evening while swimming with two other students near Tel Aviv.
One student says they were pulled out by a strong current.
Jones is part of a program based in Jordan focused on the Arabic language.
(Lexington, KY) - The search is ongoing for a UK sophomore who disappeared while swimming in Israel. 19-year-old TeNiya Elnora Jones is studying abroad this summer.
She was swimming in the Mediterranean Sea Saturday night with two other students when she disappeared.
Jones and the other students, who made it out of the water, were apparently pulled out by a strong current.
