LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The search is on for the driver responsible for a fatal hit and run in a Louisville park.
LMPD says it happened around 10:00 Monday night in Chickasaw Park. Officers responded to the park to find a 13 year old girl who had been hit by a car. That girl was rushed to Norton Children's Hospital where she later died.
The driver fled the scene and investigators say there were no witnesses to the incident.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous tip line at 574-LMPD.
