FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Another opioid distributor is facing a lawsuit by Kentucky's attorney general.
Andy Beshear filed suit against AmerisourceBergen, claiming the company distributed excessive amounts of opioids in Kentucky and fueled the state's drug epidemic.
The attorney general claims AmerisourceBergen used misleading and deceptive business practices to supply nearly 32% of opioids in the state.
The lawsuit was filed in Floyd Circuit Court.
Beshear has now sued four opioid distributors.
