(Louisville, KY) - A fundraiser for LMPD Detective Deidre Mengedoht has collected over $32,000 so far.
Mengedoht was killed on Monday when an MSD semi-truck slammed into her cruiser while she was doing a traffic stop on I-64.
She was trapped inside her cruiser as it caught fire.
The money raised by the Louisville Metro Police Department Foundation will go to Mengedoht's nine-year-old son.
