Indiana High School Employee Accused of Child Seduction

SELLERSBURG, Ind. -- A staff member at a southern Indiana high school was arrested on a charge of child seduction.

Alonzo Richmond is employed as a theater sponsor at Silver Creek High School in Sellersburg.

The Clark County prosecutor says Richmond kissed and fondled a 17-year-old male student as he was leaving a rehearsal.   The incident allegedly happened off school grounds.

Child seduction is felony that carries a penalty of up to 2-and-a-half years in prison.

School officials say Richmond is suspended from his duties at Silver Creek.
