LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Knights and the Bearcats are bringing basketball back to Freedom Hall.

Bellarmine University announced its annual exhibition game against the University of Cincinnati will be played in Louisville at Freedom Hall.

With UC's arena undergoing construction, the NCAA granted a waiver to allow the Division 1 team to travel to Louisville and play at an off-campus venue.

Freedom Hall is a familiar venue for both Bellarmine coach Scott Davenport and Cincinnati coach Mick Cronin, who were both assistant coaches for the University of Louisville when they played there.

The Knights host the Bearcats on November 1st at 7 p.m.
