Jury Recommends 60-Year Sentence in Road Rage Killing

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A man who murdered a driver in a road rage incident on Interstate 71 in Louisville is going to prison.

A jury recommended a 60-year sentence for Christopher McCullum, who was convicted of fatally shooting Mukhtar Ahmad in 2015.

Prosecutors were seeking a life sentence.  Defense attorneys had asked for a 20-year sentence.

McCullum apologized to Ahmad's family during the sentencing hearing.

Formal sentencing is next month.
