Cards Out at College World Series

OMAHA, Ne. -- Two home runs are not enough to keep the Louisville Cardinals in the hunt for a College World Series title.

Sean Wymer struck out national player of the year Brendan McKay in two key situations and TCU was on the right side of two close plays in a 4-3 win over Louisville Thursday night.

Louisville's Logan Taylor hit the College World Series' 16th home run, the most since the event moved to TD Ameritrade Park in 2011.  Brendan McKay also homered.

The Cards end their season at 53 and 12.
