LOUISVILLE, KY -- It just may be the most expensive bourbon you'll ever taste, and its for a great cause. -- The Waterfront Development Corporation has gotten its hands on a bottle of OFC Vintage Bourbon, bidding starts at $2000. Only 200 bottles of the bourbon, distilled in 1980, were released...all of them going to charitable organizations for use in fund-raisers.
Waterfront Development Corporation Finance Director Cordell Lawrence hopes the auction will generate $10,000. While the money has not yet been earmarked, it will likely support a summer youth employment program. Bidding continues through February 22nd.
