LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- It takes a lot more than meets the eye to get CBS Sports coverage of the PGA Championship to your living room.

CBS Sports has over 350 staffers at Valhalla, manning some 80 cameras and a full lot of production trailers. The plans for this weekend's telecast have been a year in the making as executives starting working on it while the 2013 PGA Championship in upstate New York was still being played.

The workdays are long for the crew, often over 12 hours, producing the event along with the network’s studio shows.

The event draws the networks executives as CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus attends the PGA Championship annually.
